We arrived in Kaikoura on Tuesday evening after a beautiful drive through the mountains. Kaikoura is a medium sized town on the East coast of New Zealand. The town was originally founded as a whaling town but now makes its money by providing whale watching by boat, helicopter, and planes.The town follows the stoney horseshoe shaped beach on the East side and is tucked up against an amazing snowcapped mountain range just to the North and West. The combination makes for some increadible views!
